I've tried reading it, but it doesn't interest me at all.
First volume sold about 1400 physical sales and second volume sold about 1700 physical sales, so it's not exactly a top seller. But seems to be increasing at least.

Ehh, it's not really my thing. The entire series taking place on a train and being about a bunch of background characters doing wacky reaction faces whenever the main couple so much as looks at each gets pretty one note after a while. I think it's fine if it stays a short series but I doubt it will unless it gets cancelled.

I doubt the plan was having it going on for a long time regardless, it'll probably be completely fine having it be three or four volumes. Not everything needs to be a long runner with 20+ volumes.

Without the supernatural element, the gags are all on the most banal aspects of modern life like gacha games, the need to use the bathroom in a crowded place, etc. This can sometimes work in something like Everyday Life of Highschool Boys, but having the entire series take place just in those train rides is really limiting. Also the Greek chorus can't be so static either. Having peaks into their lives and then using the couple as a foil could work.

is a really good series with solid written because the author understands how to do natural progression. So I'm here for the ride, I just hope that it gets decent sales so the author can take his time developing the characters
