Shit taste. Slime is my 2nd favorite isekai but there's an extreme power gap between it and Mushoku Tensei. And I don't really have any dislike about Iruma, but Hayate did the cute misfortunate goodboy MC that can crossdress in a less gayer and more fun way

The only good shows in that pic are Eminence and Mushoku. But Mushoku is old slop with a late adaptation so it's a draw. Also everything here sucks compared to Tenchi Muyo and Ranma 1/2 so actually giga-old slop wins.

Meanwhile modern slop is the same isekai setting (4 of your series are isekai), drab pastel colours with intense lighting and little contrast, waifus all look the same and bland fantasy music.

Why is Mushoku Tensei even on this list? You know I watched all the top shows back then, but I watched them as the low-tier fodder trash they were and went in without expectations. Meanwhile I went in Mushoku Tensei this decade like I was watching Gintama, Soul Eater, Kuroko no Basket, Attack on Titan, etc etc back then. They're essentially on different class.

Nah. Tensura got the "highest" volume sales from combining all of its spinoffs/manga adaptations which comes out to over 80 volumes, and Inuyasha still sold more. It's crazy to think that Tensura is more popular than an iconic classic like Inuyasha. In terms of blu-ray sales, it's not even in the same league as Konosuba and Re:Zero, and they have way more fanart too.
