This happens to women too though, especially in old age. Like 70% of 65+ year old women in the US live alone. The only downside to being male used to be dying in war, and war deaths have gone down drastically. So at least in the US women get all the downsides of 'being male' (working, isolation) but none of the upsides (immunity from rape, periods, childbirth)

Women lead pathetic existences with small brains that only ever think about sex and men, and weak bodies that are only good for sex and childbirth. Don't act like they live profound, deep lives and are wrongfully oppressed by men. Even in fiction, it's a ludicrous idea and I can't imagine why any man would want to read manga on the subject unless they were feminist midwits or masochistic, self-hating simps. Women live life on easy mode, and get to leech off of men's hard work, in pretty much every age there's ever been.
