This is actually not a BIG ass, in both cases she's just thrusting it towards the camera to accentuate its size. C.C. having a particularly fat ass is a bit of fanon that was later elevated to canon status by Sunrise. They did eventually start drawing her with a nice plump dumper, but that only came later, after the meme of it had circulated in the fandom for a while.
