I don't think I would like to see Metal Slug in animated form. There's no style that can capture the vibe of the games. No, taking the artsyle of some of the artworks would not make it, they vary from mecha autism, to funny cartoons, to cute moeblobs. Also making them chibi like the in-game sprites would be cringe.

No, metal slug attack already spiritually raped this saga enough. What a fucking shitshow of a game, I refuse to see anything out of it as canon, imagine already having good character designs, waifus and everything all set up and then proceed to bloat everything with a six years long wave of goonerslop for the sake of moneygrabbing retarded whales. The franchise should be gracefully put down forever. It was great and iconic but clearly it has lived for too long and corporate greed ruined it.
