I was told this show was good, so I downloaded it to watch on an 11 hour plane ride. Fucking NOTHING happens the entire two seasons. Every episode is "Twilight, we need you to do a secret mission," then the mom gets angry at someone hassling the daughter, and nothing happens.

I genuinely think Yor should’ve been a fellow spy, or Loid should’ve "married" Fiona instead. The tennis arc was the best part of the series because we actually got to see the duo work together and do something interesting as a team. Loid and Yor doing their own separate things just isn’t nearly as engaging.

Does anything happen in the movie? I only watched the first two seasons.

Very uncommon and unpopular opinion. Tennis is almost universally considered the weakest arc because the family was shafted in favor of focusing on a new side character who has no chemistry with the cast. Most people like the dog, cruise, or mole arcs because they have either the family each contributing (dog/cruise) or they have a faceoff between two members directly (mole).
The idea of two family members being aware of each other the entire time also just goes against the set up to not have all the main characters hiding from each other and managing to balance it out, with Anya being privy to them only by necessity. Axeman needs to just get back to planning out arcs like those mentioned again after he finishes up these solo ones.
