This anime is just pure old-school shonen, and I love it for that. It doesn't pretend to be anything else, it doesn't try to be deep, it's just pure dumb fun with colorful characters and ridiculous action scenes. The animation being so damn good also helps a lot.

Yaiba still has some work to do catching up to Onimaru. Yaiba was about tapped out, but Onimaru looked like he was just getting warmed up. If both their swords had held up Onimaru would have killed him.
