Subtle inclusions of the internet being more prominent and smartphones existing allows me to picture it happening in real life. When I first watched Parasyte back in 2015, I wondered if they actually existed there and if they got to the US. Would I even be able to record one? It allowed me to immerse myself. The original manga is not very tech savvy and feels almost ancient in comparison.

I listened to it and yeah you are right. The more electronic sounding tracks do sound like something you would find in tekken. I was also pleasantly surprised that there are a few classical songs. The soundtrack does sound good except for "I AM"; I can't stand that track, that's the most wub-wub dubstep and to me it just sounds bad (personally i also can't not associate it with mlg parody videos).

I don't think he's an ass per se, but he comes across that way because he's an animal capable of articulating his thoughts in a way that is really similar to humans. We assume that he's an asshole because he acts how an asshole would, despite his nature being incompatible with that. It's an interesting turn because Shinichi is trying to equate the best of humanity with the idea of humanity.
