No, that was from before. Him being blessed as a hero is the reason why his brother was appointed as the next head of his family instead of Dale. It's the reason why his last name is Reki instead of Tislow. Reki is the name of those in his village that are chosen to be their representatives in the outside world. Tislow is a closed off village. Him being blessed means he can no longer take over the clan.
