I went ahead and read the manga because of this thread and it was honestly better than it had any right being. Better than a solid 80% of isekaislop. All the main characters are ridiculously likable. I'm now excited for this anime.

The gigachad is actually a decent likable guy. MC is actually serious about repenting for his past life misdeeds. The girls are very likable and so far there is no romance developing between the main two and MC but through some magic shenanigans, a new party member in a later arc develops a crush on the MC's alter ego.

It's pretty decently written with no NTR bullshit. I don't know the original novel is good or if the manga adaptation writer was extra competent but it's hard to dislike any member of the main party. It's genuinely just a good time watching the main party adventuring around and be friends.
