Your mistake wais assuming that the "villains" trying to overthrow the system weren't completely justified in trying to do so.

That was always one of my biggest issues with Bleach. For all of their technological advancements through Mayuri, and the seemingly just leadership of many of the captains, nobody was really trying to fix the societal problems with their power.
