Is One Piece objectively better than Evangelion? Consider the following metrics:

-value of the intellectual properties
-episode count for manga/anime
-reception across all countries

My argument is that One Piece is greater. Think about the decomposition of societal themes, the evolution of the series into adult tones, and the high stakes involved. As for characters let's face it, Nami is better than Asuka, and Robin is better than Rei(lol). Even the main characters don't compare, but Shinji isn't really known for his popularity anyway.

Thoughts?

Jusg looking at it at surface level naruto and bleach would be superior but sadly you are as wrong as you are alone.
Detective conan has more but eva is still superior (openning song still considered one of the few you need to learn if you want to call yourself otaku along gegege no kitaro openning).
Just remember that one piece hasn't released a movie or ova in a while, not even new game (still pirate warriors 4).
