Either way, bros being bros anime is at its best when it's just loser mc's fucking around. See: Genshiken, Otaku no Video, even Nichibros in a sense. Hell, the part in NHK when it's just Satou and Yamazaki hanging out is the better part of the show.

Kyou Kara Ore Wa was so good. 10 OVAs from 60 to 40 minutes long and they all felt like 23 minute episodes. I wish I could erase it from my mind to watch it again.
