Was Death Note's ending poorly written?
>>279786419 (OP)Yeah it was pretty stupid
>>279786419 (OP)The anime's ending tried to paint Light as this sad tragic hero. The manga's ending with him crying like a bitch before dying in front of everyone was better.
>>279786419 (OP)the show goes downhill after misa is introduced
The writing plummets the exact moment it introduces the shota and his crossdressing boyfriends
>>279786572she made it up and added variety
>>279786419 (OP)Near is a hack, Mello was the guy who did all the heavy lifting that led to Light's takedown.
>>279786419 (OP)I think it's more that season 2 as a whole wasn't very good.
>>279786613A shota always improve their respective show thoughever.
>>279788376>>279786613Near is a grown ass manchild, who is shota coded, not a real shota
>>279786569based. the manga ending was much more fitting for the message on how evil develops. idk what they were thinking with the anime adaptation
>>279786419 (OP)Stopped watching right after L died and never looked back.
Any anime out there that compares to early DN?
the story lost its soul after L died. should have had him beat Light from beyond the grave with some sort of clever dead man's switch instead of introducing his uninteresting child replacements.
>>279786419 (OP)The ending was perfectly fine - in the manga at least. The anime glosses over a lot and makes it more asspully than it actually was. It's just an inferior adaptation overall
>>279793176Watch code geass, main character is a more human version of light
>>279786419 (OP)Whole story was poorly written, but it was very cool sometimes.
The manga ending was actually pretty good, except for the contrived switcharoo.
>>279793176My Home Hero the first arc at least.
>>279786629>hey mello I know you did a lot aganist kira but I will just use my luck aganist him hopefully I am right teeheedeath note was supposed to finish with Ls death but mangaka got pressed on
