This fuckass backstory actually made me drop one piece ruined not one but two of my favorite characters and the revolutionaries as a whole
The only way Oda could redeem it is if Ginny was actually pregnant with Bonney before being captured and Bonney was kumas daughter

We had a whole ass arc for found family we beat that trope to death already I got it it's great but Kumas fuck ass backstory was just tragedy porn to make people go so sad so deep oda could have stopped it at his parents being killed by the CDs
And even if he did make Bonney his daughter (yes I know she's his daughter) it still paints dragon as a disappointing fucking do nothing.
This majestic motherfucker scaled the fucking red line and shit on the celestial dragons barehandedly
