If you consider a toy commerical as poltical, sure.
>>279827258 (OP)If you consider lusting after cock political.
It has political themes, sure. But it's not political in the modern day sense of the word.
>>279827258 (OP)In a sense:

>>279827258 (OP)Not really. It's a black & white morality war story made to sell toys by a hippie.
>>279827258 (OP)It's a political drama demonstrating that people obsessed with ideology and politics are stupid.
>>279828235It's not really subtle in touching on contemporary politics
I'm not even gonna bother watching this crap. At least IBO had the merit of being coherent within its universe. It felt modern with corporations existing alongside state power and anyone that tries to change the status quo or make a place for himself gets the stick. G-witch felt completely disconnected from the franchise, they wanted to represent power struggles inside big corporations but the characters were a joke and never went anywhere. That and too much lesbian pandering. The show could have been interesting if it was centered around a terrorist Gael who decides to side with the oppressed.
Then this one one comes out and they take the lesbian pandering to the next level while throwing some member-berries. Hopefully Tomino comes back to make something inspired by the war in Ukraine or what's happening with Israel. Take the franchise into something truly innovative: space horror in a setting where AI powered MS cull everyone, survival against an overwhelming enemy that seeks to genocide you, a series of OVA detailing how different characters survive the first day of a conflict...
>>279828708Unironically yes, people who think they are justified because they percieve their opponent as comically evil are often grievously mistaken psychopaths.
>>279828815Thank God you don't write, because you'd get sued by Ellison's estate.
If "elites bad" is politics, sure.
>>279829245>He is Jewish.I like how its just presented as is without any other accompanying information like the rest of the paragraphs.
>>279828890Every story has been told before. I don't think Gundam is the right franchise to write an AI centric show. If they wanted, they could have easily made a show about the calamity war in IBO. In this case, AI mobile suits would be just like drones in Ukraine, easily disposable to drop morale within enemy troupes. I'd watch a show about an average grunt trying to survive in this new type of war.
>>279828883(You) are grievously prete tious ledditor.
>>279827258 (OP)Yes. Stop being retarded.
>>279827258 (OP)all things pertaining to people's lives are inherently political
Sure but everyone just loves the mechs beating each other up.
>>279828708This sort of thing is normal for real life military conflicts.
