Yotsuya Miko has recently become able to see ghosts. She sees the ghost of a boy on the street and ends up talking to him. The boy's ghost follows her home. Miko watches a YouTube video and learns that "ghosts will follow you if they know you can see them, so it's best to ignore them," and decides to completely ignore them. High school cultural festival time, Miko was surprised to see a pale hand on her best friend Yurikawa Hana's shoulder. Yuria and Akio (the male student president) can also see ghosts and tell Miko that the school has a lot of ghosts because there was a landslide in the past that killed students at the school festival. Hana had previously gone to the crematorium and is haunted by a relative, Miko and her go to a shrine and pass through a Torii gate where the ghost is exorcised. Mrs. Arai (the pregnant teacher) goes to the hospital, Zen arrives the next day. Miko sees him being haunted by a dark spirit. Hana then gets possessed by the same spirit. Miko and Hana go to the shrine, but it doesn't work. Hana collapses and is hospitalized, the dark spirit is next to Hana. Miko consults Yuria and Akio, Yuria thinks it's a living spirit and possibly it's Mrs. Arai (childhood friend with Zen btw). Arai tells Miko about Zen's backstory (toxic dead mom). Akio tells Miko that some gods leave after sunset so she needs to be there before sunset to do exorcisms. Miko, Zen, and Yuria go to the shrine; Zen's mom knocks out Yuria (lol). The god of the shrine stops Zen's mom, Miko and Zen walk through the Torii gate which does the trick. Miko tells Yuria that her dad died in a traffic accident, Hana returns for the school festival, Miko's class does a haunted house. At the end it's revealed that Miko goes to an all-girls school and that Akio and all the male students shown were actually victims of the landslide (they're all ghosts). The End.
