I don't think it's especially hard. Like having both world suffer destruction as long as gates plural are open, fighting cults on both side keeping them open.
You just need to plan for that before you make the plans for your fantasy harem.

I just wanted the fantasy world to put up a good fight. There was no reason magic was so useless (unless used for the JSDF) or things like dragons could be taken down so easily. Probably some of the better stuff would be the fight with the minotaur since it could soak up a lot of rifle fire and took a creative takedown to beat.

Nowadays, we realized how weak tanks are to micro-drones. In fact you could immobilize a tank with spell like "turn ground into mud"

Missiles used against airfighter are only "strong" because aircraft are incredibly fragile to begin with, and helicopter could realistically be downed by a ballista, which is obviously needed in a world with flying dragon.
Like, chopper approach thinking it's ruling the sky, suddenly the fantasy army reveal they had hidden a ballista and baited the chopper

Thinking about it, anything with fantasy scale that can take fireball should at least be good against small arms
