i don't see any possible way they pull this off without making a completely anime-original ending. like there is not a SINGLE good stopping point for this crunch of an arc in an episode's runtime, also considering the idea that it might not even get picked up for season 3 if they decided to handle all of the IRA stuff in 6 fucking episodes of season 2

in the manga he's so fun, he also gets multiple chapters, fights, and an extended backstory to really shine
in the anime he's getting 2 fucking episodes

they're all experimental clones of yumeko/muko since she is the youngest and last remaining survivor of the dragon priestess clan. daidai uses them to create the divine tool replicas behind yellow squad's back using yellow keeper's technology, think of it like a diminishing-results sort of thing. all of the previous priestesses' bodies have been converted into divine weapons for the keepers to use, so cloning yumeko allows them to continue to make somewhat weaker tools that are still able to harness dragon energy.
it's also why none of the keepers have the balls to kill suzukiri even though they know she's scheming, because if they do, the last source of pure dragon energy for them to abuse gets wiped out. how her entire clan got blown the fuck out is a spoiler though, pretty big one too
