This is just the propaganda of the Chinese and Koreans. Everything is about as common as it has always been. The main issue now though is/was the isekai spam. That was done because the Chinese especially really like isekai for some reason. However, it didn't translate into sales so only time will tell how much longer Isekai lasts.
