Every, I repeat, EVERY shonen MC is both: hard worker and gifted. You will never find one who is only one of those things.
Tanjirou was gifted with a special bloodline that allows him to use rare techniques, Asta with that black sword, book or whatever, Luffy with the akuma no mi and the fact that there is only one Saitama already shows that he is not normal.
Ichigo, Gon, Yuuji and Boruto needed to train, which already proves that being gifted with powerful genes was not enough.
Every, I repeat, EVERY shonen MC is both: hard worker and gifted. You will never find one who is only one of those things.
