This. The original manga is a classic for a reason. 519 chapters, done by a talented mangaka and good editors.

You can literally ignore Super, Daima, whatnot and miss nothing.

Start with the manga by Akira Toriyama. Or if you are Hispanic you can skip straight to the Dragon Ball Z anime.
