Monogatari as a whole is very good. But you also get this vibe from the OPs and EDs as they are a complete story of their own full of a bunch of passion and high quality work. A good example is the Nadeko Draw OP from last year. That arc was very good and sexy on its own, but its OP was next level artistry. Shaft pretty much uses the Monogatari OPs as a chance to go all out in expression, practically making a mini anime in them. The EDs are also really good. They always feature cool art from this one guy who is really good at sketching, and they also have guest music that is very good in most cases (especially the ClariS ones). Monogatari is a show where you can't skip the OPs and EDs.
