Let's have a serious discussion about the future of anime with the arrival of AI. How would it affect the industry?
For me personally, I'm quite hopeful that the anime industry will evolve for the better. Just imagine the possibilities. We are no longer bounded by a bunch of good for nothing executives who only want profits by umping out trash anime with trash animation. Give it a year or two and AI will be capable of adapting manga faithfully and with good animation. The true passionate anime fans will take it upon themselves to adapt a manga from start to finish, all they need is a good GPU and some basic knowledge of storyboarding. Long will be the days where anime studios deliver us trash anime adaptations with horrible artstyle, half ass animation and bad direction. AI will also be useful for improving previous anime adaptations that are simply terrible at the moment. For example, imagine a truly great berserk adaptation from start to finish.
What do yo guys think?
