CLAMP, the legendary shoujo manga group known for works like Cardcaptor Sakura, was so passionate about pairing characters that they once created a child between Jotaro and Kakyoin and featured them in their own work.

When JoJo Part 6 revealed that Jotaro had a daughter named Jolyne, they were apparently shocked.

This even led them to briefly drift into other pairings like Zoro x Sanji.

But upon learning that Jolyne’s Stand, Stone Free, was a humanoid power type that used string, they interpreted it as:

“Stone Free is basically Star Platinum + Hierophant Green — therefore, Jolyne is the child of Jotaro and Kakyoin.”

With that interpretation, they returned to the JoJo fandom.

They even drew Jolyne as part of JoJo’s 25th anniversary project — a testament to that belief.

CLAMP's character designs always made it obvious that they were fujoshits, but I never bothered to 100% confirm it. I guess this confirms it.

you'd think their multiple yaoi works would be an easier way to confirm it

It's not. Party members are all lacklusters but the villain carries the show.

Jojo villains are the backbone to any Jojo part. That's why 8 feels lackluster as the main villain's stand is infinitely more interesting than the dude himself.
