My favorite adaptation and I honestly believe is superior to Araki's original work.
Only downside of the OVAs are not being a complete adaptation of Stardust Crusaders, but besides that, the OVAs are perfect.

Yeah, it's very fun. They fucked up the Vanilla Ice fight but N'doul and D'arby are very well done and Dio's World is plenty of fun, with ups and downs both brought about by its changes from the manga.

it's different, lost the humor of the manga and focused on the horror elements, cut out a lot of stand fights, but I like it for what it is. that 90's animation with quality isn't made that much anymore.

Nostalgia is not a factor, the OVAs are superb and the superior adaptation for me.

It's better than the original manga. At that time Jojo was very shonen with few fights deviating from that formula. This adaptation is an improvement, although the tone sometimes feels wrong

Absolutely. It is a bit too short, cutting too much content from Part 3 overall but what it does, it does amazingly and obviously the last boss fight against Dio is classic.
