It's sad there isn't more racing focused anime. Redline obviously, that's a good one, MF Ghost has been coming out lately and it was OK, pretty boring but decent CGI I guess.
What gets me is when they have like a race episode of a regular show, like the race episode of space dandy, race episode in outlaw star, a bunch of episodes of ranma they race in various circumstances, not actually car races thooooo

Yeah a lot of them aren't subbed and often hard to find. Softsubs are a luxury and the subtitles can be hit or miss, more of the latter.

you'd think with Baribari at least there would people who got onto translating it, considering it was Shuiichi Shigeno's work before Initial D and is basically a prototype for it, just with bikes instead of cars.

Sidestories in naruto were great overall and you don't feel they were filter at all. Seeing races as a focus of a segment or an episode for an otherwise non-race themed series is stimulating.

Truth be told when I was young I also played with my cap and imitated a steering wheel like Capeta in the first ep.
