That's going to depend on the series. The older ones like Komori-san or Tonari no Figure Genkeishi will have the chapters based on the volume version while the recent series have a follow up directly taken from the magazine.
For the series based on volumes, classic 4koma will have better quality in the chapter version since they split the page into two columns while wide 4koma or story manga are identical to the volumes.
For series with a follow-up release based on the magazine, those from Kirara Forward have better quality in the chapter version since they don't do the odd brown shift the Kirara magazines have. The base Manga Time family doesn't have those problems in the first place.
