A 6/10 if you remove the Chimera Ant arc and I'm being extremely generous. First few arcs were ASS, York New was decent then it immediately went back to being shit for Greed Island. Chimera Ant is 9.5/10.

I had the same opinion of it. I don't understand how some arcs were good and others were unwatchably bad

I didn't watch the anime but the ant arc was ass in the manga with absolutely everything and anything being covered by a narrator, the ants were one dimensional cartoon villains except for the royal guards and some of the few who changed sides. Ant arc is also where nen started to have zero limits and ended up with it being able to do anything and everything. At least in Greed Island, Gon had to think about using gravity and some chemistry to beat the villain, that shit is never happening again.

Does anyone else think that the pacing of chimera ant arc was kinda terrible? I’ll rank the arc based on my personal enjoyment;

Post Kite’s death/training arc (meh)
Meruem’s birth until komugi (okay)
Post komugi until palace invasion(amazing)
Palace invasion(abysmal dogshit)

Sorry i just can't accept these opinions. Every HxH arc was enjoyable it gave us something new, a completely new genre and it was filled with so many great characters, scenarios and twists. I don't know how anyone can hate greed island and even chimera ant arc? I don't give a shite about objective opinion or different taste. If you don't like something in hxh it must be your personal problem. There's something wrong with you, not with the show.
