I like it, despite its obvious flaws. I enjoy the dynamic between Sakuta and Mai. Some arcs didn’t work for me like the first movie, which felt way too melodramatic. On the other hand, I appreciated the second one, which tackled a theme I haven’t seen explored in other shows. I can forgive certain flaws, though I still criticize others. Overall, I think it’s an above-average show that earns points for trying something different. The characters aren’t insufferable, and while some plots are just okay, others reach Schrödinger’s cat levels of stupidity. Still, the direction is neat, and watching it doesn’t feel like a chore. Also, I love bunny suits and the first ED is a banger.
