Nope. Manga is, without a single exception, slop. There are a handful of DECENT slop. It’s like comic books; can you say there are any MASTERPIECES? Here's another fact, many of these older classics got many many versions and retellings completely different from another, that we don't even know 100% what might be the original text or canon. For instance in some versions of Mahabharata, Karna was portrayed as a rapist murderer driven by envy towards his brother(which is theorized to be his actual original personality) while some versions portray him as a noble misunderstood warrior(which is what Fate used and what many modern depictions use). Does that sound familiar?
