Hibike Euphonium. I love everything about it. The animation, the artstyle, the music, the tone, the characters. It manages to convey a sense of weight to the drama without making it seem unpleasant or ridiculous. It's an excellent watch. I dropped it way back when but I picked it back up when S3 started airing and I watched the whole thing including S3 in a couple of weeks. Finished up just when the last episode (of S3) aired. Wonderful time. It kind of reminds me of Shirobako which I also adore in terms of the tone and atmosphere.

Hibike and Shirobako have a similar perspectivist approach to writing drama. There are no heroes or villains; only different viewpoints and clashing values and commitments. Except for That Guy in Shirobako. Fuck that guy.
