I really thought Nemona would be treated like Tenka who will knock out both Friede & Amethio to show the power of a champion compared to regular trainer. But it been 100 episode and Nemona did nothing remarkable outside of jobbing to Roy.

If Ash returns than they have to make him more overpowered by having him catch the new region's third legendary pokemon. They no longer has no excuse after handing Terapagos to Liko and forcing Nemona to job to Roy who didn't had 5% of character development that Ash went though.
