We don't know properly know yet, but so far leaning into doomposting because aside from part 6's staff the teams that did 1 to 5 are occupied with other stuff, and there team for Undead Unluck and Fire Force are also occupied.
Meaning that the only other available team is the one that did Spriggan, getting the that team would be the best possible news since it's a team that knows how to handle 2D and 3D while also knowing how to draw detailed stuff in 2D like Mecha.

David Production in general worries me right now. Part 6 felt rushed as fuck, Undead Unluck clearly didn't have enough budget so in order to for the anime to have the usual David Production seal of quality in direction they had to insert a fuckload of recaps making the anime go at a snail pace, the OST for Undead Unluck hasn't released yet, they announced a 1-hour special for Undead Unluck that was meant to released in winter but it got delayed at the last minute without any further updates since, the new season of Fire Force had to release as a split cour, said new season looked like shit in the first few episodes, there are rumors that they had to do the anime on shorter amount of time because the publisher pass the OP off to another Studio that ended up having so many production problems that the project ended up going back to David's hands and now the anime original they're making Onmyo Reverse which it seems they out a lot of budget into is currently flopping hard because it seems like the script if shit so if it doesn't pick up in the next two episodes they studio could be losing a lot of money.

Making Anime originals is good because that way the studio makes more profit for themselves and has more freedom to do what they want, the problem with this is that they chose a literalwho of a writer who clearly doesn't have enough talent and put way too much budget into it making it a mixed media project and having one of their best staffs animating it.

I think it's very likely they will take the Bleach Thousand Year War Approach to release aka weekly but a break after every 12/13 episodes

Reminder, Part 6 was so bad because nobody cared about Part 6 and the pandemic destroyed an already lacking production. It got the Part 4 treatment of being a lesser priority project. Part 3 and 5 were high praised parts. Part 7 is at their level and David Pro is aware of this going off their marketing push for Part 7. It's much stronger and prevalent than Part 6's. They have no choice but to try their hardest for the anime. You're blinded by doomerisms if you think Part 7 will be anywhere near Part 6 in adaptation quality.

Despite Part 4 being a step down animation-wise from previous part, it still looked good for most of its run and is a beloved part in Japan. Part 6 problem seems mostly to stem from a rushed development and the animation director we got from it being legitimately bad, as Toshiyuki Katou seemingly works better on management than as an animation director.

Something to note - the arc that will require the most animation budget and has the most horses is the 1st Stage - after that the actual horses going at high speed are really only for a limited time and there are some arcs that don't feature them in a heavy capcity at all like Sugar Mountian Spring

I wouldn't mind if they just have the 1st stage as one long episode and then go weekly. Releasing the 1st Stage at once might work for it considering its fast pacing.

No it didn't. The art style was lacking. It had to be saved by blu-rays so bad that not even the opening for Great Days was finished. Killer Queen's reveal was infamously bad. Stone Ocean had way less frames than usual, specially for a David Production show. The source material being good doesn't suddenly excuse the poor job from the animators.
Undead Unluck was a passion project that looked consistently amazing with a good source material too, but the show wasn't given enough budget so they had to do a fuckton of recaps which isn't normal. And now the TV special that was meant to come out in Winter and got announced at the end of last year is currently on limbo.

I honestly wouldn't mind a longer break between two seasons, most of us already waited at least a decade for a Part 7 anime so I could wait a year or two in-between. But as I said, I'm not used to this kind of production or whatever (I do understand why it is like this nowadays though), but I kind of miss being able to watch an anime weekly for months or even a year or so.

Part 4 and 5 were 39 episodes weekly but they had to take breaks and there episodes of poor animation quality which pepole won't excuse with Part 7.
