It's perfectly middling bland in the cgdct/SoL category. I'll admit the category itself isn't really interesting to me. I would be happy ignoring it if it didn't have such a pushy, hyperbolic fanbase.
So, as with many things with terrible fan bases(vegetarians, dog-moms, WRX owners, AMD users) I am forced to dislike it

Needs an anime. The way the schoolgirls talk is probably really interesting and full of subtle details but it can't be fully conveyed in a manga translation english text. Japanese voice track, way more people can sorta appreciate.

I've never seen anything so bland and uninteresting get heralded as if it was the second coming of Christ like this manga does. The way the fans talk about it, you'd think this was some grand achievement not just in manga, but in literature as a whole when it's nowhere close to being either. One of the most overrated, if not the most I've ever read.

Why do underage battle shounen children seethe about this manga so much anyway?
