As long as the adaption isn't SHIT then my ideal experience is to watch the anime first then read the manga so I can appreciate all the details lost in translation.

Haven't read it in forever, but if those are the ones before the yurishit begins, then they are better than what follows, not the adaptation. They feel lifeless compared to it
