Watched the first season. I loved it, it's one of the most creative series I've seen in terms of idea execution (I feel the romance plot became somewhat tiring by the end though)

It's a cute and endearing but very autistic premise and the manga is a shitshow. For now I'm just happy the show seemingly fixed the most retarded plot points surrounding Melon from the manga and I'm cautiously optimistic that the final cour will deliver a good resolution.

You make it sound like the anime greatly improves the manga. It improves very little and most of the changes are awful, which overall makes it a worse way to experience the story... unless you only care about those few improved moments.

The first season was carried hard by the opening animation, which wasn't even made by the same studio as the rest of the show. And fucking furries eating it all up, no matter how bad and tasteless it was.

No. Legoshi and Haru are both borderline crazy and toxic to each other. What's supposed to be romantic about their story is them trying to make their love work despite how easy it is for it all to go wrong.

If anything, BEASTARS advices to avoid girls like Haru unless you can really commit to them.

legoshi should've take grandpa's notes. it would've been a mote bittersweet ending if legoshi stick to same species understanding that interspecies even if taboo but so right, it would cause a huge mark on offspring
