So again, what do you think of it? I still have an issue with the typesetting. Feels like it could be better.
These volumes are what's out right now. Definitely released to coincide with the anime so there will be something to buy if people liked it. Same as how the last two raw volumes were released back to back in Japan. I do hope the releases and the anime boosts its popularity overseas. This has been a long time coming.
So the anime is next week. We will spend some episodes with the same stories in these two volumes, so I hope to see you there!

I'm really surprised how good the felt. Like yeah, it was a little stiff here and there, some things were translated strangely (like the sovereign thingy) but it was fine. I would love to see less known/dropped series (re)translated like this.
That said - can't beat the normal translation, especially when discussed on /a/. You can learn quite a bit, like the chapter naming in jp being like the title, from, the last thread.

I don't think it's really that he dislikes Yuu, it's just that he's disappointed that he's not living up to Subaru's legacy, and moreover that he's so passive about his lot in life. He seems to gain a little more respect for Yuu whenever he stands up for himself. And it's not like he's any less hardassed on his daughters from what we see.
