My country was in desperate need of stonemasons a few years back to the point the government was paying for the entire curriculum for those who'd apply, but I never heard back. This was EXACTLY when Covid happened though, but was a type of opportunity that made me go "Yeah I wouldn't mind doing that" especially since it was just a year or two long, albeit something I'd have to live away from home to do. A good chance that hasn't come around since, but I'm not looking for them either.
I probably should look into NEETbux at some point though just for passive income, but I'm pretty sure my country is also strict with it in the sense that you only get a couple years of it before they cut you off.

No, it isn't a silver bullet to make everything look amazing but it is very good at thickening up lines in older works... but then Gonzo should re-release Welcome to the NHK! Anime4k or any similar projects of this sort are crucial to watching older anime. Really helps some, others you will notice a marginal improvement but better than nothing, ya know? I'm watching Welcome to the NHK! right now (mode B), looks good.

I love the art style when the lines are very loose and the characters are very kind of "floaty" in NHK! The Tatami Galaxy had a style or something similar in some scenes IIRC. Gonzo used to do great work: FMP!, Hellsing (which desperately needs a re-release of some kind), Gantz, NHK! ... what happened? They work on anything worthwhile lately worth watching?

I've used the modes, yes it improved it slightly but it also added artifacting which is even worse than watching the 480p version.
