CG is usually crap but sometimes it's OK. This anime actually had some really good scenes, even though they were CG.

It looks like shint whenever it's CG, and anti-lolicon to boot with stick figures for girls, so really it's even simplistic, but still can't do it right.
Girls Band Cry showed how it's done.

The special thing about Etotama CGI was that it used so well to great effect, instead of just going full CGI or using it as obvious cost-saver.

This, and Show By Rock (Season 1, only!) both had the best use of CGI in anime I've seen despite both being chibis. And they aired at the same fucking season.
Also yes best girl easily. I wish she managed to bring back moe loli culture to anime.

I think it looked amazing. Fitted the chibi critters more than anything else of the franchise.
