Seriously there are hundreds all over Crunchyroll. It is by far the largest genre on there, and the front page is 2/3 isekai.

Who is watching this shit? And better yet, where is it all coming from?

Except that the treatment MT received from Kadokawa pre-anime proves otherwise. The LN and manga versions got tossed aside like a wet blanket and their sales pre-anime were just barely above average.

all isekai that exist were born on amateur webnovel sites, they are extremely cheap to buy the license and are popular in a way, so any studio that wants to increase its popularity only needs a small amount to buy some random isekai and make an anime out of it

Even if battle shonen are similar, they don't look that similar. One may be about pirates, the other may be about ninjas, another one may be about martial arts. The vast majority of isekai just look like Dragon Quest. Way easier to get tired of it.

There really aren't that many battle shonen anime. It just feels like there are a lot because the more popular ones run for a long time. A big reason is that most battle shonen are adapted from weekly magazine manga, of which there are only a fairly limited number of spots (especially for the bigger name magazines that are more likely to get adaptions). Isekai light novels are churned out endlessly and any moderately popular one gets a commercial release, so there's a WAY bigger pool to adapt from.
