If Gigguk announced that he was making an anime focused on balls out crazy relationship drama and shit like that that he genuinely wanted to write in the first place I'd be all in on it because I'd know he'd try to make the most of something like that and I'd be super hyped because I wouldn't doubt he'd be able to do that kind of thing better than most Japs could and actually get away with more.

Seeing it's instead a hecking wholesome fucking isekai about 'appreciating your homeland' that came about because he initially phoned in shit and ended up getting far more talented people to direct because of his own money means that it's almost certainly going to be generic trash with a mild twist at best. I'll respect it f it turns out to be better than I'm expecting, but the premise is unfortunately trash, and in a boring way rather than the 'interesting' way I'd be hoping for.
