Am I crazy or is there a film grain over everything that just makes it look muted as fuck? Usually anime looks pretty good on my OLED TV but this doesn't

Can someone explain to me what's up with the manga for this?
I see things saying it started in 2020, but then also things saying it started publishing in 2024. And I see there's apparently 8 volumes, yet most manga sites I check only have like 28 chapters?

Is this just one of those ones that didn't have official releases and no one was translating them before or what?
