I went to see fireworks yesterday and there was a mediocre symphonic band that played before hand. They were nowhere near as good as Kitauji and I was constantly ignoring the music in favor of imagining myself passionately having lovey-dovey sex with Kumiko

K-on! Is a masterpiece. Euphonium is that mediocre symphonic band.
>Love Live is absolute dogshit.

Not on the same level as K-On but still better than any idolshit that's current out.
S1 & S2 has decent musical pieces and it's nice seeing the band grow from being complete shitters. Kumiko's development is good from start to finish. Rest of it is average besides a few low points.

Unfortunately you're half a man and your bloodline will end with you because you're a genetic dead end. Hence this faggy post.

It starts off lighthearted and SoL-ey, but it pretty quickly gets into much more drama-focused stories and the cast slowly expands very naturally so you'll PROBABLY end up caring about every single character in some form or other by the end. It's very well written with good pacing and it takes itself seriously without ever being too melodramatic or overbearing, which would have been easy to slip into considering it's a teenage band drama show. K-on is pure SoL/cgdct, Hibike! Uses those genres as a jumping point to a more focused narrative
