Napoleon is frankly not very interesting on his own dramaturgy wise. Even when people go out of their way to viliffy him or glorify him he sucks as a character and consistently makes for tepid drama. Nobody can make him good outside a history book written by his simps. Honestly his men are a lot more interesting than him. Like his general who started a dynasty that survived to this day, the guy who started out as a breadmaker and climbed all the ranks, or the guy who won the war against Prussia and wasn't interested in leveraging the fame politically but still got treated like shit by Napoleon because he felt threatened. Also, Talleyrand. Now that guy is interesting. He's like a mix between Lelouch and a cockroach. Always there at the crux of history, always came out on top no matter the regime. Not to mention one of the guys responsible for one of the best peace treaties in history, negociated from a position of weakness after the downfall of the empire.
Frankly if all you want is "IMPERIALISM GOOD/COOL" you have quite a few fictional stories to pick from already, don't even bother with napoleonic war adaptations they all suck.
