Don't worry, I will just use my OP ability Wind Tunnel. Nothing beats that.

I can't decide if it's good power design or bad power design. He's written to be overwhlemingly overpowered with the ability to win any fight with ease, so the author HAD to write a hard counter to him basically in the next chapter or else there'd be no way to maintain the plot.
He's so powerful that he was made useless by necessity, but we all remember his power for that.

I have never watched Inuyasha. Is it good? I didn't even know it had any characters besides the dog man and school girl.

When the drawback is that you have to draw at least one panel of bees virtually every time he's fighting anything besides fodder, it's bad enough that it warrants either rewriting how the power works or writing him out of the story. Like, she could've given him an arc where he goes through some kind of trial to learn how to control it better and do a more narrow succ (at the cost of raw power). Then you can have him feel more useful (even if he isn't really) while still being able to do his whole "Forgive me, Sango, but I must use the full power of the wind tunnel this time, even if it'll kill me" drama.

It's good, the beginning is pretty strong, characters are likable, the problem seems to be it just keeps on going for longer than it needs to with a main villain that overstays his welcome. Overall I much prefer Ranma, which has similar lead characters, with a lot more comedy and less melodrama. Give it a try, if you're a girl you might love it.

It was decent at first then MC became literally rockman and just collect powers from opponents that he defeats. Also the author reused the same plot line like 5 times for some fucking reason

It's okay, but very heavily padded out. Shit's like 56 volumes. I distinctly remember a point during the last story time where it seemed like they weren't too far off from the ending. There were only a couple shards left and everyone knew who had them and it should've been trivial to grab them. Then it should be final arc territory right? No, there was over 20 more volumes to go. It was barely the halfway point.
There's a very repetitive structure of:
>Inuyasha and friends find Naraku (or his proxy for the arc)
>Naraku has contrived some new way to be unbeatable, usually some kind of barrier
>Inuyasha goes through some adventure to upgrade his sword
>Comes back and wrecks Naraku with his cool new sword power
>75% chance Sesshomaru shows up to fuck up Naraku too (read: mostly just stands there looking cool, maybe swings his sword once)
>Moments before defeat, Naraku turns into a cloud of smoke and flies away
>return to step 1
This is basically the plot of 50% of Inuyasha volumes. I shit you not, there's one point where it happens twice in a single volume.
