I started the OVA for the first time last night. I'm surprised I didn't watch this sooner, it's very good actually.

Will Chronicles be worth watching after this?

I tried watching the TV version afterwards but I couldn't even get past 1st episode, it's a completely different story and the VAs are all different as well, I just can't handle when VAs change

It's an re-adaption of the four novels the OVA had haphazardly thrown in as the last third.

Amazing to think this was the same thing that Critical Role is doing, just less gay by a mile.

I liked Chronicles but the OVA is better. Still worth a watch IMO, see the story through to its conclusion.
