This is actually a very good chapter. Keeps the story going while keeping up the action momentum, not too much exposition and a good showcase of the MC's character.
The enemy too doesnt just seem like a worthless nobody but shes a strong step up in danger from the previous two monsters. The art also seem to be keeping up just fine and I must say I really like the expressive faces.
This is the kind of tight pacing you need to hook readers for the long haul.

Yeah, I like what the author is setting up with this arc. Having implied cannibalism already means this manga can go pretty dark pretty fast.
I don't think jump had had a legitimately dark /horror setting manga in a long time, this is a great way for Kaede to differentiate itself from the rest of the exorcist slop.
