>I'm a huge retro anime fan teehee
>watches only toonamicore from the 90s
Why is it so common?

Because to watch anything older would mean to pirate it and that's SO DANGEROUS AND ILLEGAL AND IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND
TORRENT? MAGNETS? IRC???
Do you want me to download a virus?
Also the older the anime the more "problematic" content it has and that gives them the ick

Toonami anime isn't (all) retro (though it did should a handful of stuff from the 70s and 80s, so that can easily count), but at least it's mostly great shows.

It honestly does suck that there's so much shit that you can only find on some private tracker that only accepts new people during a solar eclipse. Poor accessibility is why standards are so low and trash is popular, it reflects on the industry down the line.

You are greatly overexaggerating the amount of shit that is almost impossible to find. 99% of all anime ever made that was archived online is on Nyaa.
There's no excuse to not watch shit from the '80s, '70s, '60s, '50s... hell, the works of Kenzo Masaoka will never be streamed or licenced by a distributor, and are some of the most influential work in anime history.
Those "retro anime lover" won't go out of their comfort zone to seek true art

People don't generally spend all that much time and effort into finding things to enjoy, they just try out the things they happen to see

You snobby torrentz people always crack me up with your "its available muh torrentz" but everytime i go looking for something it... isnt... there.
And if you happen to luck out and it is there forget about it if its anything but some bloated bluray remux version you are looking for.
I cant wait untill the last of you torrentzfags are hung from a lightpole for your private tracker trickery.

That's because they are tourists who never even watch anything from outside the 90s. They don't even know that anime existed before Akira (1988).
