Are there any pairings in anime with better writing and chemistry than these two? Years later and I've never seen a show that was able to replicate the dynamic they had.

It's hard to call them a great pairing when I didn't like either one of them. Kurisu is very generic and Okabe is not much better. Steins;Gate needed more fleshed out characters or at least more sympathetic ones.
